We are living in a busy world where we do not have time to even smile at our neighbours or even speak to God :( God desires & longs to speak with us, but we have no time for Him. In 1 Samuel 13, we read that the Philistines had gathered for war against Israel, as Samuel delayed in coming Saul offered the burnt offerings by himself in place of Saul. Intention: The intention of Saul was good. He desired to seek God before going to war. Circumstance: 1. The Philistines had gathered for war at Mikmash 2. The men (soldiers) were scattering 3. Samuel arrived late. Result: The kingdom left His hand as God had chosen a man after His own heart to rule His people. Like Saul don't look at the circumstances.
