Intresting Facts about Magi... !!!

INTRESTING FACTS ABOUT MAGI: 1. Jesus, the Messiah was born in Bethlehem, Judea and the people in Israel were ignorant of the fact, but the magi were able to recognise that a King has been born from a far just by seeing the star. 2. They were ready to travel miles just to see the King, so the Star guided them directly to Jesus. (Daniel 12 :3 ~ They that lead others to salvation will shine like stars forever... Revelation 22: 16 ~ Jesus, the Bright Morning Star 🌟⭐) 3.  Though they had travelled miles with the thought and expectation of seeing a king, they did not doubt on seeing Jesus in a manger. But, rather they bowed down and worshipped Him. 4.  When they were warned by God in a dream to travel by a different route, they were ready to disobey even the king... Things to Ponder on 🤔🤔🤔: 1.  Am I able to recognise and accept God's plan or will when the circumstances do not look like it??? 2.  Like the star am I leading others to Jesus??? Am I reflecting Christ, so that o

Perfect Guide!!!

Many a times we come across cross roads of life (What do i study??? Should I study further or work??? Which guy do I marry???, etc.,) & find difficulties in taking decisions. At times we feel that we are wise enough to make decisions on our own & that we do not need any person to interfere in our life... Our Almighty Righteous God takes great intrest in our personal lives &  no one in this world apart from Him can ever be a perfect guide, mentor or instructor.. He has the most beautiful wonderful plans for our life. 1.  In Genesis 25: 23 -2 we read that Rebekah went to enquire to the Lord when she had a wierd sensation in her stomach. At present scenario, doctors might be able to predict the gender of babies, the no. of babies, the physical condition of a baby... but as she enquired God, He gave her a brief update of the life history of the kids. 2. Acts 9 - After Saul's first encounter with God on the way to Damascus, he did not go for consulting physicians as he

Lack of PaTiEnCe :(

We are living in a busy world where we do not have time to even smile at our neighbours or even speak to God :( God desires & longs to speak with us, but we have no time for Him. In Gal 5:22, we read that the fruit of the Spirit includes PATIENCE... Many a times when we lose the important characteristic we tend to lose the blessings of God... Saul was the first King chosen by God to lead the Israelites. In 1 Samuel 13, we read that the Philistines had gathered for war against Israel, as Samuel delayed in coming Saul offered the burnt offerings by himself in place of Saul. Intention: The intention of Saul was good. He desired to seek God before going to war. Circumstance: 1. The Philistines had gathered for war at Mikmash 2. The men (soldiers) were scattering 3. Samuel arrived late. Result: The kingdom left His hand as God had chosen a man after His own heart to rule His people. Like Saul don't look at the circumstances. You may face problems like the raging storms

FOUNDATION DECORATED WITH PRECIOUS STONES!!!

THE 12 BEAUTIFUL FOUNDATIONS!!! "The wall of the city had 12 foundations, and on them were the names of the 12 apostles of the Lamb."               The foundation is considered to be the basis and important part of any building. Even though the exterior of any building is magnificent, but if it does not have a proper foundation it is sure to collapse.              In Revelation 21:14, we read that the names of the Apostles are written in the foundations of "New Jerusalem" - the Bride of the Lamb (Rev 21: 9, 11). To add more beauty to it the foundations were decorated with beautiful precious stones (Rev 21:19).              The Church is compared to the bride of Christ and gave himself as a sacrifice for the redemption of the Church (Eph 5:25).               Like Jesus the Disciples humbled themselves as grains of wheat to die so that multitudes may know our Savior (John 12:24).               History says that most of the Apostles were martyre

SPEAK LORD FOR UR SERVANT IS LISTENING!!!

SPEAK LORD FOR UR SERVANT IS LISTENING!!! Acts 3 Samuel was a promised child, chosen child, was in the plan or path that God wanted him to be and was ministering in the House of God.     1.   Though he was in front of the Ark of God in His presence ( The lamp of God had not yet gone out, and Samuel was lying down in the house of the Lord, where the ark of God was. 1 Samuel 3:3 ), Samuel could not hear or distinguish when the Lord spoke to him. Being the Creator of the entire universe, the Lord desires to speak to us but, many a times like Samuel, we might not identify His voice. Probably, we never believe that God would speak to us personally or we never heed His majestic voice and are occupied with the things of this world. 2.   The Lord began speaking with Samuel, only when he was ready to hear His voice ( The Lord came and stood there, calling as at the other times, “Samuel! Samuel!”Then Samuel said, “Speak, for your servant is listening.” 1 Samuel 3:10  ) The Lord w

What do U want me to do Lord???

WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO LORD??? God has specific plans and purpose for each individual. He has created each one of us in a unique way in His image, to be a channel of blessing to many. Many a times, we never realize the plan of God. "What do you want me to do Lord?" was the question asked by Saul during His first encounter with God (Acts 22:10, Acts 9:6). Maybe that was the turning point in His life!!!  God gave him a clear cut directions and used him as a instrument to carry His name before the Gentiles, Kings & Children of Israel. 👉 Paul was submissive to God's calling 👉 Had great zeal to do God's bidding 👉 Was ready to suffer for Christ... Things to Ponder: 1. Am I seeking God's will? 2. Am I submissive to His calling??

SPEAK LORD!!!

SPEAK LORD!!! Many of us desire to hear the voice of God... And there are many who have a doubt of if "God really speaks" I have heard Prophet Vincent Selvakumar saying that if a man with a small mouth itself speaks in a nonstop basis, is it not possible for the Creator of us to speak. 😌 In this busy world, to meet important people like the Prime Minister, Chief Minister or other Important personalities we are required to obtain APPOINTMENTS 😢 But, in the Bible we read that Abraham was called the Friend of God, God spoke to Moses face to face just as a man speaks to his friend (Exodus 33:11), Jesus called His disciples Friends.. There are many examples in the Bible where people had a close and intimate relationship with God. But, the Almighty Righteous God desires to spend time with us. Let us commit ourselves to be His FRIEND & TO HEAR HIS VOICE.................

The Empty Stone Water Jars!!!

THE EMPTY STONE WATER JARS!!! "Nearby stood six stone water jars, the kind used by the Jews for ceremonial washing, each holding from twenty to thirty gallons.  Jesus said to the servants,   “Fill the jars with water” ; so they filled them to the brim." John 2: 6,7. In John 2:6, we read that the purpose of the stone water jars was to hold water for the ceremonial washing in the wedding house. The jars did not fulfill the purpose of holding water, but were empty. We might feel that our lives r like the water jars kept aside, empty, unnoticed and ignored by people and without any purpose..  "God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong." 1 Corinthians 1:27. When the pots were unnoticed by people, God's amazing eyes feel on the pots. The pots which were empty and were supposed to carry water were filled with wine and distributed to all the Guests in the wedding ceremon
